Meet… Kayla “Claps For Disney” Liquori!
All things Cape Harmony!
Q: How did you hear about Cape Harmony?
A: “My a cappella group performed with Acapocalypse, and Justine was in that group. She talked a lot about Cape Harmony so I stalked her and found out more about it.”
Q: What were you most excited for coming into your first summer in Cape Harmony?
A: “I think living with nine girls and becoming friends and singing all the time.”
Q: What has been your favorite CH memory so far this summer?
A: “Alumnae weekend because it was really cool seeing all the ladies perform, and being able to see the girls in the current group perform with their old summers.”
Q: Has Cape Harmony helped you learn anything about yourself?
A: “I've learned that I'm an extremist of a social butterfly, and that I can’t control myself around people after 9pm.”
Q: Are there any aspects of Cape Harmony that you want to bring back to your college a cappella group?
A: “I think the emphasis we place on vocal health would be really great to bring back, and how seriously we take our brand as well.”
More about Kayla!
Q: If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with all your extra time?
A: “I would do everything I have to do because my to do list is always 85,654 pages long.”
Q: What fictional place from a movie or a book would you like to go?
A: “Hogwarts.”
Q: If you could have any animal as a pet, which one would it be?
A: “I would say a great white shark, but I feel like having them as a pet would restrict them. So I'll go with a dog.”
Q: What song do you find it hardest to not dance to when it comes on?
A: “If I’m being honest with myself Closer by the Chainsmokers is my guilty pleasure. I hate that I love that song.”
Q: Do you have a favorite day of the year?
A: “Can the start of the Olympics count? Because I love the start of the Olympics.”
Q: What trend from the past do you hope will come back? A: “I love the 80s so I would just say literally everything from the 80s should be brought back. Even parachute pants.”
Q: What movie title best describes your life?
A: “Stressed, but doin’ it.”
Q: Where would you spend all your time if you could?
A: “I would spend it at Lake Martin, Alabama.”
Q: If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
A: “Cecilia Liquori, then my nickname could be Cece.”
Q: Among your friends or family, what role do you play?
A: “I'm definitely the entertainment, but also the shoulder to cry on.”
